First Line Supervision Course

This course is designed to provide foundational principles in effective supervision to current supervisors or those preparing for the supervisory role.  Participants will be exposed to effective conflict resolution techniques, employee performance considerations, leadership principles, effective evaluation guidelines, sexual harassment considerations, ethics and disciplinary processes.  This is a comprehensive 40-hour course that is open to public safety professionals from law enforcement, EMS, communications or corrections.  Civilian support personnel are also encouraged to attend.

 

This course is Missouri POST approved and also counts toward the mandatory three-year Racial Profiling requirement.  - 40hrs Total
