This training course is intended for patrol officers, or any other personnel who may respond to the scene of a questionable death. The course of instruction will provide a basic understanding of the common causes of death and how to complete a basic investigation of any questionable death. Students will become familiar with detailed information and check lists that indicate the proper way to proceed through the handling of a crime scene and all evidence, as well as exposure to general techniques associated with the coordination of an investigative team.
