This course is designed to familiarize the patrol rifle operator with the current system of operation, tactical deployment and decision making regarding the use of the patrol rifle. The course is designed to develop in the officer a high degree of skill and proficiency with the patrol rifle in the areas of safety, handling, maintenance, manipulation, shooting, combat tactics, and decision-making.  This is a hands on class and participants are required to react during multiple shooting exercises.  Topics of instruction include:
