Management Development Course

This is a comprehensive 32-hour course that is open to public safety professionals from law enforcement, EMS, communications or corrections.  Civilian support personnel are also encouraged to attend and the course is second in a series within our leadership development curriculum.  This course takes over where the First Line Supervision Course left off and is intended for current first line supervisors, mid-management personnel and senior management who have not attended any executive level leadership training. 

The course is designed to provide relevant principles in management and oversight for both administrators and supervisors of any size public service organization.  Comprehensive training modules will expose participants to a variety of subjects related to organizational management and this course is Missouri POST approved.

There is a minimum enrollment of 10 officers required and that number can be comprised of officers from multiple jurisdictions.
