About this Seminar: This three-day conference features multiple blocks of instruction designed to increase and enhance security awareness and response to terrorist incidents. Attendees will gain valuable information and insight into the terrorist realm, counter-terrorism operations and lessons learned from renowned Israeli counter-terrorism expert, Senior Warrant Officer (ret.) Daniel Sharon. SWO Sharon will share Israeli concepts and operations designed to detect, detour and combat terrorism and this course is designed for police officers, military service members and security professionals. Homeland security is the responsibility of all first responders, and this seminar is designed to fulfill the critical first line of defense in all security operations. Attendees will receive comprehensive information that is designed to enhance response to the terrorist threat. This is not textbook training, but information taken directly from Israel and no one has more relevant and real time experience preventing, combating and containing terrorism than do the Israelis!

About the Instructor: Senior Warrant Officer (ret.) Daniel Sharon possesses over 28-years experience as a member of the Israeli Security & Police forces. He has served as a commander in the Northern Golan Heights, responsible for numerous counterterrorism missions and has extensive experience with terrorist operations, suicide bombers and extremist Islamic organizations. Mr. Sharon has fought in two wars and served as a member of the Israeli military Special Forces. He has successfully thwarted terrorist missions, disarmed a suicide bomber and has extensive training and experience in counterterrorism operations. Mr. Sharon has received multiple decorations for his police/military efforts and was awarded Police Officer of the Year during three consecutive periods. He speaks multiple languages and frequently lectures/teaches throughout the World. Mr. Sharon has provided expert instruction/consulting services on counterterrorism to U.S. police agencies, the U.S. armed forces, and police and security forces for many countries in Europe. In 2008, Mr. Sharon was appointed to the Homeland Security Defense Coalition, where he serves as a counter-terrorism and homeland security instructor/expert.
