About this Course
This course is designed to provide foundational principles in effective supervision to current supervisors or those preparing for the supervisory role. Participants will be exposed to a variety of leadership and human performance concepts and this is a comprehensive 40-hour course that is open to public safety professionals from law enforcement, EMS, communications or corrections. Civilian support personnel are also encouraged to attend. Comprehensive training modules will expose participants to a variety of subjects related to organizational leadership, supervision and improving performance. This course is Oklahoma CLEET approved and Missouri POST approved.
About the Instructor
Mr. Rex M. Scism, MS serves as our President/CEO and he possesses extensive experience in a variety of public safety, military and private sector disciplines. He is a renowned leadership expert, possessing over 30 years of police experience and currently serves as a commander with a large Midwestern state police agency. Mr. Scism has earned both Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Criminal Justice and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy’s 249th Class.
